What is Crank Yankers?[]
Crank Yankers is an adult puppet series that airs on Comedy Central since 2002. It originally aired from 2002-2005; in 2007, MTV2 had picked up the series and aired the final episodes, which were left unaired. The series went for a 12-year hiatus until Season 5 premiered on Comedy Central in 2019; it made changes to the characters, the theme song, and modernized the series. Most notably, Special Ed did not return due to him being considered "too offensive" to people with mental disabilities.
